SJOC Parish Women's Group Ministry

Formed in October 2021, the Parish Women's Group is a homegrown ministry of the parish, meaning that it originated from St. John of the Cross Parish, started by the women of SJOC Parish, for the women of SJOC Parish, under the direction and guidance of the pastor. 

The Parish Women's Group was created to enhance the spiritual, social, and family lives of women parishioners and to serve the parish through various activities throughout the year.

There are activities for spiritual learning as well as service activities for the parish and the community. These activities include Day Trips, Fall Family Picnics, Coffee Sundays, Bake Sales, Women's Retreats, Parish Pilgrimage, Church Clean-up Day, Pictures with Santa, Summer Bash, Bowling Night, etc. We regularly meet every month and sometimes more frequent during winter spiritual studies.

The Parish Women's Group Ministry has no membership. All women parishioners are automatically part of it though only those in its email distribution list receives updates.
