Baptismal Ministry

As a Baptismal minister you are required to assist the Priest or Deacon during the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism. At St. John of the Cross Parish, baptisms are generally scheduled for two Sundays a month at 2pm. You will prepare the Altar and Font, as well as meet and greet families.  You will help throughout the baptismal ceremony.  Your time commitment approximately 2 hours every 2 to 3 months.
